Muslim leaders have censored the Government over strict measures pegged to get passports for Hajj pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

They accused the Immigration Department of denying more than a 100 Muslims passports yet the deadline for issuance of visas is July 30.

Council of Kenya Muslims Organising Secretary, Sharrif Hussein Omar said their pleas have fallen on deaf ears even after meeting President Uhuru Kenyatta during the EId ul Fitr, who assured them that issuance of passports and ID cards to the Muslim community would be streamlined.
