NAIROBI, KENYA: Law society of Kenya has struck off Kisumu Town West MP from the list of advocates for professional misconduct.

LSK says the second time Member of Parliament was found guilty of withholding Sh700,000 paid to a widow (Milka Adhiambo Ojwang) as damages after her husband died in a road accident.

In a rejoinder Olago said LSK’s action has been hatched by his political adversaries.

“The matter was settled to my satisfaction and that of my client in October 2012. LSK was served with notice of withdrawal of the complaint immediately. They ignored and purported to strike me off the roll in my absence,” Said Olago in a statement.

The MPs has now filled a constitutional reference in the High Court in Nairobi to have the matter reviewed.

“I will proof that I am being crucified for my brand of politics,” Olago added.
