Deputy President William Ruto meets Central, Rift MPs

DP William Ruto and Muranga elected MP's after a meeting at his Karen office.

Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday met MPs-elect from Murang'a and Rift Valley at his Karen office in Nairobi where he asked them to work together in implementing Jubilee's development agenda.

Mr Ruto said Jubilee remains committed to ensuring service delivery aimed at creating jobs for Kenyans.

Congratulating the MPs-elect on their victory in the August 8, 2017 election, the Deputy President warned them that they would lose the people's confidence if they failed to deliver.

The DP said leaders should forget their political differences and take a common stand in addressing the challenges facing residents in their respective areas.

He said he would hold similar meetings with leaders across the country to emphasise on the need to implement Jubilee's agenda.

The MPs-elect included Irungu Kangata (Muranga), Ruth Mwaniki (Kigumo), Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Aaron Cheruiyot (Kericho) and Margaret Kamar (Uasin-Gishu).
