Governor-elect Charity Ngilu has asked her predecessor Julius Malombe and outgoing Senator David Musila to back her leadership.

"What the county needs now is healing. That is why I'm urging winners and losers in the just ended elections to come together and unite the people," said Ngilu and promised to form an all-inclusive government.

"My focus now is to bring peace. I am also calling on all leaders to bury their political differences and speak in one voice for the good of our county."
