Youth supporting Jubilee Party have urged local officials to put their house in order ahead of President Uhuru Kenyatta's tour of the region next week.

Led by Lurambi Elvis Malova, the youth said supremacy battles among party officials and their followers are undermining the party's popularity in the county.

"We demand the officials to sort out their differences and mobilise supporters to receive the President during his expected tour and by extension Western," stated Malova.

Mr Malova said the youth were prepared to welcome President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto in Kakamega again. -John Shilitsa
