A fire razed down a dormitory at Migori Boys High School Wednesday night and it took more than an hour for fire firefighters to arrive at the scene.

The School's Deputy Principal Philip Rabang'o said all students were in class when the fire broke out at 9pm.

He says there is no casualty in the incident but they have been waiting for a Fire Emergency van from the nearby Sony Sugar Factory to help put off the inferno.

"All students are safe and parents should remain calm. The cause of fire is not known," said Rabong'o.
