Walk of faith: Lessons from Janet Kanini Ikua's journey in 2016

Janet Kanini is an epitome of faith

Lesson: Walk by faith and not by sight, and do not be afraid to put yourself out there if it will help others.
On September 2015 Janet Kanini Ikua was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, the same condition that had killed her father. furthermore, she was told she had only six months to live and if she was very lucky a year.

"On hearing the diagnosis from my doctor I remember being confused and scared because eight years before my father had also passed on from the same condition. However, what has really helped me through this season was my community of friends, prayer warriors who lifted us up, they offered my family a support system which I will forever be grateful for," explains Janet.
