Facebook rolling out facial recognition technology that can detect your face in any new photo

How many photos of you are on Facebook? The social network says roughly 400 million new images are added every day - and it's got a revolutionary software system to keep track of them.

It's called, rather ominously, DeepFace - and it's an artificial intelligence (AI) system that the social network has been developing for over a year. Facebook claims the algorithms can determine whether two different photos feature the same person with a 97.25% level of accuracy.
