Most people opt to take these holidays at the end of the year because many are free at this time, including children. Vacations are meant to be relaxing but realising you packed less or inappropriate outfits can ruin a lot. While packing a vacation suitcase, it does not mean you should pack different outfits for each day. If you do this, you will end up having heavy or a lot of luggage which is hard to keep track of when travelling. To solve this issue, here are some essentials you should have while travelling for holidays. SWIMSUIT While visiting hot places, or going for what the West would call Summer vacations, you will need to be in the water at some point. It doesn't matter whether you prefer a two-piece or a one-piece swimsuit, make sure you carry the one you have. A two-piece has more uses other than just swimming. A one-piece, in as much as you can put it on as a body suit, it is difficult to convert it to a bralette top. OVERSIZED BUTTON SHIRT This is a bodice that serves so many functions. You can unbutton and style it with a bikini top, tie it up into a crop top and style it with lounge pants as well as a skirt or button it up and tuck it in underneath a pair of denim pants. GO-TO DRESS Dresses make the best simple outfits. For most of them, all you need to do is slip it on your body, put on some shoes, accessorize a little and step out looking gorgeous. A midi dress (any dress above the ankle and below the knee) is very appropriate for official occasions depending on your activity lineup. When going out for casual activities during hot weather, put on a short dress which could either be a skater dress, halter dress or sundress. DENIM PANTS This can also be replaced by a pair of jeans. These pants are thick enough in case it gets cold and they also go with everything. Apart from styling them with an oversized button shirt as earlier said, you can also use the bikini top. LOUNGE SHORTS OR PANTS Lounge pants are simple, loose, lightweight pants that sometimes come with adjustable drawstrings. They are as comfortable as one needs to be while on vacation. The degree of comfort also makes them a good option to put on while travelling. SKIRTS If the weather is too hot, trust that skirts will come through for you. Short skater skirts circulate the right amount of air making you forget that the world around you is heating up. If you need to attend official occasions, midi skirts like tiered skirts will be a good option. OVERSIZED BLAZER This comes in handy during date nights. You can put it on as part of the bikini top and lounge shorts outfit. BUTTONED CROP TOP This acts as an alternative to the boyfriend shirt. They come in handy while putting on short skirts or lounge shorts. ACCESSORIES Always carry a pair of light and smoky or black Hollywood sunglasses. You don't want to be looking directly at the sun while sunbathing at the beach. Have at most three different bags of neutral colours ranging from black, earth or grey. The three could be hand, tote or shoulder bags. Don't forget to pack at least one bucket hat to protect your face from the sun. When it comes to necklaces and rings, carry a few that make a statement and can juggle the outfits discussed earlier. Carry a scarf that is of a neutral colour - scarves transform outfits in magical ways. SHOES When it comes to shoes, three types are needed during a vacation. These are; flat sandals, walkable sneakers and heels. In place of heels you can have fancy or chunky, just make sure they are comfortable. To conclude all these, do not forget to pack your smile, put your troubles aside and enjoy to the fullest!
