PCK too good for KPA in netball tie

Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) hit Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) 40-33 to stay top of the five-team table standing in a netball match played at Afraha Open Grounds.

PCK led 26-20 at the break.

They now lead with eight points after four matches followed by Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) and Ministry of Transport who are tied with three points from three matches but the former have a better sets aggregate.

Ministry of Information and Communications trail with no point from three matches.

In another match played at the same venue, Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) defeated Ministry of Information and Communication (MOIC) 50-13. Bennedetta Odongo top scored for KAA with 33 goals while player/coach Bether Atieno also scored 17 goals while Elizabeth Njuguna replied for the losers with nine goals.

Atieno later told Feverpitch she was happy with the performance of her team saying her players played according to her instructions.

"They played according to my instructions. The first half was a bit challenging but we managed to outplay them. However, the game was a bit friendly but the best team won," she said.

She was particularly impressed with Odongo who was later voted 0 the best player.

Today, Ministry of Information and Communication meet Ministry of Transport while KPA play against KAA at Afraha Open Grounds.
