The 65th Grammy Awards saw a major milestone as Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, took home her first Grammy. The Nigerian singer, who rose to prominence with her collaboration on "Essence" with Wizkid, went on to collaborate with some of the biggest names in American music.

Tems won her first Grammy on Sunday night at the crypto.com Arena in LA, for her featured performance on Future's hit song "Wait for U," which also featured Drake. With this win, the 27-year-old singer became the first female Nigerian to receive a Grammy.
