After a dreamy and romantic wedding weekend, Tanzanian socialite Hamisa Mobetto and her new husband, Stephane Aziz Ki, are already facing family turmoil.

Stephane Aziz Ki is a Young Africans S.C. (Yanga), Tanzania’s top-flight league footballer.

Aziz Ki’s mother, Anata Ki, has publicly questioned her son’s marriage to the mother of two, revealing that she only learned about the wedding at the last minute through social media.

She expressed disappointment, stating that she had requested a delay so she could travel to Tanzania and be part of the ceremony, but her plea was ignored.

"As for me, I was informed for the first time through social networks... And I congratulated my son despite everything. Then he decided to inform me. But I was on a duty mission in Dakar and I left yesterday," she disclosed.

The wedding festivities began on Saturday, February 15, with a traditional dowry ceremony, known as Mahari Day, where Aziz Ki paid a bride price of 30 cows.

This was followed by a grand Islamic Nikkah ceremony on Sunday, February 16, where the couple exchanged vows in an elegant affair.

Dressed in matching green and white ensembles adorned with gold accessories, the newlyweds radiated sophistication.

However, amidst all the glitz and glamour, there was a glaring absence—Aziz Ki’s family. Instead, he was accompanied by fellow Yanga FC teammates as he presented the bride price.

The delegation was led by Yanga Club President, Hersi Said, alongside players Pacome Zouzoua, Bakari Mwamnyeto, Yao Kouassi, and the club’s Public Relations Officer, Ali Kamwe.

Anata Ki was particularly displeased with Hersi Said for taking on a role she believes should have been reserved for Aziz Ki’s family. She took to Instagram to express her outrage.

The special event took place at Gofu Grounds in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam. The Tanzanian fashion mogul was accompanied by her manager, Paul Mangoma, and 15 bridesmaids dressed in elegant outfits.

The couple openly expressed their love and affection for each other, leaving Hamisa Mobetto in tears. Aziz spoke of his joy at finding a wife he truly cherishes, and Hamisa echoed his sentiments.

She said, “This is where I’ve reached, having found someone with genuine love for me. Our souls are in harmony. I pray to God to guide us as we move forward with our plans.”

As Aziz slipped the engagement ring onto her finger, she tearfully embraced him, showing her readiness to commit.

In a viral video on social media, Aziz Ki is seen hugging Hamisa Mobetto and her two children while whispering something to them. Due to Hamisa’s emotional reaction, it is speculated that he accepted them as his children.

Hamisa Mobetto has a daughter, Fantasy Majizzo, with popular Tanzanian DJ Majizzo, and a son, Dylan Abdul Naseeb, with renowned Tanzanian Bongo sensation Diamond Platnumz.
