Kenya Defence Forces have shot to the top of the National Boxing League for the first time in five years.
They did so after accumulating 25 points as they won the second leg of the league championships that ended in Meru over the weekend.
They now have 49 points. League champions Kenya Police follow with 45 points with three more legs of the league championships yet to be held. KDF won the second leg with 25 points, four ahead of the policemen.
Nairobi County were third with 13 points ahead of Githurai 44 and hosts Meru County tying on five points. Mbaraki had three, Kisumu two, Dallas Muthurwa two, Laikipia two and Siaya none.
