Antoine Griezmann ‘verbally agrees’ shirt number and wage ahead of Old Trafford move

Antoine Griezmann has verbally agreed his shirt number and weekly wage at Manchester United, according to reports.

The Atletico Madrid striker is expected to complete a world-record transfer to United in the summer, according to the Sun.

Griezmann’s people have been in talks with United for “several” months and the Euro 2016 top scorer is “extremely keen” on the move.

The negotiations are so far along that, according to the Independent, the Frenchman has agreed his weekly salary and what number jersey he is to wear.

Griezmann is said to consider the possibility of connecting up with Paul Pogba, his global team-mate.
