After winning the Parklands Open Junior Tennis Championship, Keean Shah is now focusing on improving his for future championships. For Shah, playing tennis makes him flexible, fit and busy when out of school.

Although he lost his doubles with his friend Keal Shah to Geofrey Ogega and Albert Njogu, he says that it has been a great improvement this month. “The final was not easy for me but I am happy to win today.

This is not my first competitive tournament this year, I have won other tournaments in the under-10 category,” says Shah. “I have improved a lot from the past tournaments and I am looking forward to play better matches through more training, so that I can be a great tennis player,” he adds.

Shah has big dreams for the future to play like his role model, world number one Rafael Nadal. “I would like to play like Rafael Nadal in future and hope to represent my country in international tournaments. I like Nadal because he is hardworking, determined and never gives up no matter what happens. He is also a good sportsman and patient,” Shah concludes.
