Former Vihiga Queens striker Topister Situma on Wednesday moved to Tanzanian giants Simba Queens after ditching the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Premier League champions four days ago.

The Harambee Starlets striker complete her move to Tanzania Women Football giants Simba after helping Vihiga Queens win the 2021-2022 FKF Women’s Premier League title unbeaten.

The forward is coming off a remarkable season where she finished as the top scorer with 17 goals

Topister becomes the fifth signing at the four-time league champions after Zainabu Mohamed, Ibinabo Alex from Nigeria, and Ghanian Philomena Abakah.

She will join up with Harambee Starlets star midfielder Vivian Corazone Aquino who joined Simba last month.

Aquino joins Simba FKF Women’s Premier League side Gaspo FC. Aquino captained Gaspo Women to a third place finish with 40 points in the just ended 2021-2022 season that Vihiga Queens won.

The Kenyan international has previously feature for Swedish outfit FC Rosengard (2018) and Portuguese side Atletico Ouriense (2020).

Simba are beefing up their squad ahead of the CECAFA region 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers that will take place from 28 July to 10 August in Arusha, Tanzania.
