The novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has led to an indefinite postponement of football activities globally with not so soothing financial implications.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino has, however, warned that re-starting football too early amid the coronavirus pandemic would be insensitive and irresponsible.
