Paul Pogba scored a stunning free-kick as France eased past World Cup 2018 hosts Russia in Saint Petersburg.
The Manchester United midfielder was left out of the starting line-up for last week's clash with Colombia.
But he was recalled for this one, along with United teammate Anthony Martial.
And Pogba was involved in the opener as he set up PSG star Kylian Mbappe.
The midfielder played an excellent through ball into the channel and Mbappe latched onto it before firing into the net.
France had chances to double their lead before Pogba stepped up to curl home an excellent free-kick from range.
Russia had their moments and managed to get one back through Fyodor Smolov.
But France had the final say as Mbappe added his second, firing through the legs of Russia stopper Lunev.
It was the perfect response to the defeat to Colombia last week as Didier Deschamps's side continue their preparations for the World Cup.
They face Ireland, Italy and USA before the tournament begins in June.
