Man United to swap Schweinsteiger for French star Blaise Matuidi?

Manchester United could be set to offer Bastian Schweinsteiger to PSG as a sweetener in their attempts to land midfielder Blaise Matuidi, according to German site Sport Bild.

United boss Jose Mourinho is said to fancy taking the Frenchman to Old Trafford should he fail to land number one midfield target Paul Pogba, and with the French Ligue 1 champions apparently interested in taking Schweinsteiger he is hoping offering them the Germany captain will lead to them accepting a £20 million bid for Matuidi.

The 29-year-old has impressed for France at the Euros, and could come up against Schweinsteiger when Les Bleus take on Germany in the semi finals tomorrow night.
