Smooth transition as ‘Team Change’ win Football Kenya Federation polls

After three postponements, the much-awaited Football Kenya Federation (FKF) elections finally went on smoothly yesterday at the Kasarani Indoor Arena. Sports Cabinet Secretary Hassan Wario and his Principal Secretary, Richard Ekai, were at the venue in a historic appearance by a cabinet minister at a football election.

World governing body, Fifa and the African Football Confederation (CAF) delegation led by Leodega Tenga, FIFA Head of Associations Primo Corvaro and FIFA Development Officer Ashford Mamelodi, were also present to oversee the election.
