Leicester star Mahrez doesn't want to leave for Manchester United

Red-hot Riyad Mahrez believes he would be “stupid” to quit Leicester next month - because the Foxes are top of the league and flying.

The Algerian winger, 24, has bagged 13 goals and provided seven assists to make himself one of the stars of the Premier League this season.

Manchester United have been linked with a big-money bid for his services while Chelsea are big admirers of his team-mate Jamie Vardy.

But Mahrez said: “I do not think that I am going to leave because I feel very good here. Of course it is sure that there are noises.

“It is good to have clubs that are interested in you but I feel very good at Leicester and it would be stupid to leave in January, especially because we are in first position!”
