Gor Mahia influential striker Dan Sserunkuma wants to leave the club to play in Armenia. The player has put in a transfer request but the club is unwilling to let him go in a move that could create more problems between the two.

Club Secretary General George Bwana confirmed they received a request from the player to leave but insists that will not happen due to contractual obligations. “Last week, the player wrote to us requesting that he be allowed to leave but our position has not changed. He still has 14 months remaining on his contract and we are not ready to release him at this time.
