Other than his beef with Drake making it to the headlines, rapper Pusha T has done it again after he tied the knot with longtime lover Virginia Williams on Saturday.
The star-studded event took place in front of a notable selection of guests including family, friends and their celebrity besties, including best man Pharrell Williams.
Others in attendance included Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Fabolous, The Dream and Trey Songz.
Posing in front of a mirror, Kim showed off her gold Balmain mini dress which she paired with a sparkling Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a retro cell phone. After showing off her look, the reality star announced, “Mr. West is in the building!” turning the camera on her husband, who was adjusting his black suit.
The joyous occasion comes in the midst of a busy year for Pusha T aka Terrence Thornton, who’s the current president of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music record label.
The rapper donned a custom-made cream Dior dinner jacket and black tuxedo pants by Dior artistic director Kim Jones, while the bride wowed attendees in an elegant Marchesa lace gown with a plunging neckline before changing into a second look, a strapless white dress by Reem Acra for the after party.
“For whatever reason, I see the number 721 almost every day in crazy places. On 7/21/16 Terrence had me believing he was in L.A., but popped up at our home in Bethesda,” she told the outlet.
“He told me to meet him on our rooftop terrace…when I did he was on one knee and asked me to marry him at 7:21 pm! I said yes!” Williams explained the reason the date had a special significance for them.
The fancy but not uptight ceremony was officiated by Pusha T’s brother Gene “No Malice" Thornton.
After the vows, the newlyweds did their first dance to Curtis Mayfield’s “Makings of You.” Musical performances were not complete without Pusha T himself getting on the mic as well as Fabulous.
And in order to make sure all of their guests felt comfortable, the couple provided custom Adidas slides for everybody in attendance so they could dance all night.
According to the grapevine, the couple flew to Greece for their eight-day honeymoon.
