It seems Chris Brown is never short of drama. He’s at it again this time, finding himself fighting for custody in court, over a brawl involving his one-year-old daughter, Royalty.
To update you, Chris, 26, got Nia Guzman, 31, pregnant while dating his on-and-off girlfriend, Karrueche, earlier last year. Karrueche, who was friends with Nia, dumped Chris in March after baby Royalty’s birth.
Nia has reportedly sued Chris claiming that he’s stopped paying child support. The two had settled on $100,000 (Sh1.04m) per month, a settlement they arrived at after Brown had proposed $2,500 (Sh260,297m) while Guzman had wanted him to pay $150,000 (Sh1.56m).

Chris and Nia will fight it out in court in two weeks’ time. She wants full custody of one-year-old Royalty and visitation for Chris, but only if it’s monitored. She claims he’s a bad guy who hangs with criminals and smokes marijuana. Chris on the other hand wants joint custody.
Meanwhile, Chris thinks her argument will bounce right back in her face, because her boyfriend, King Ba, the guy who lived with her and is even named on Royalty’s birth certificate, is a wanted man... on the run for forgery. Chris is eager to show the judge how Nia has terrible judgment, by coming together with a conman.
Chris believes Nia’s real motivation has nothing to do with custody and that she wants to milk more child support out of him.
Chris says Nia is treating the baby like a winning lottery ticket, but she claims he’s being incredibly cheap and their daughter is suffering as a result.
