Tempers are flaring in the local football scene, this time pitting Gor Mahia’s Deputy Secretary General Anima Ferrar and Carline Kisero, ex-girlfriend of Ulinzi Stars Captain.
Ferrari refuted claims that she landed a hot slap on Kisero for allegedly spoiling her name, saying that all she did was ask why she (Kisero) was spreading rumours about her.
Ulinzi Stars captain Stephen Ochola’s name has featured in an incident where a female Gor official, Anima Ferrari, is alleged to have slapped controversial football fan, Caroline Kisero, at City Stadium during a midweek Kenyan Premier League match.
The incident took place on the Wednesday of September 24 during the half time break in a match those league leaders Gor settled for a barren draw against visiting coastal side, Bandari.
According to eye witnesses, Anima, Gor’s deputy Secretary General, simply walked to where Kisero was seated, slapped her in the face and then hit her with an expensive smartphone.
“I don’t know why she attacked me. I was seated with friends and sort of turned my face into her slap. Before I could comprehend what was going on, she hit me with her phone and walked off,” narrated Kisero.
However, Ferrari refuted the claims, saying she only challenged her to explain why she was spreading rumours that she (Anima) was moving around with the Ulinzi captain. Ochola is Kisero’s husband- even though the two have since separated, while Anima is married to an ardent Gor fan she met during a football match.
Anima went ahead to say, “I filed a report at Nyayo Stadium Police Station on September 22, way before that incident. Kisero has been telling people that I am dating her ex-husband, Stephen Ochola. This really annoyed me because Ochola and I have been good friends for a very long time now. I am married and my husband knows about my friendship with Ochola,” said Anima.
The two were staunch members of the famous ‘K’Ogirlo Divas,’ an all-female Gor fans outfit known for their sharp and sexy dressing.
Why Always Kisero?
Kisero is no stranger to controversy, having hit the headlines previously for leaving Ochola for AFC Leopards goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya. But before the dust had settled, Kisero walked out on Kasaya.
“I have had enough of this media coverage. Please, make sure you do a nice obituary about me because it seems some people do not want me to live anymore,” Kisero told The Nairobian.
Some analysts have linked Kasaya’s on and off the pitch conduct to his tempestuous relationship with Kisero. Last week, the AFC and Harambee Stars custodian was reprimanded by Coach De Jong for what was reported to be gross misconduct. While at Sony, the talented keeper fought on the pitch with fans, leading to the abandonment of a match.
Anima went on to say, “Kidero slapped Shebesh, it hasn’t affected his performance as a Governor. I am not saying I slapped Kisero, but certainly, I can tell you this incident will not affect my performance as the Deputy Secretary General of the club.”
