2 Chainz for Jameson Live

The highly controversial 2 Chainz concert courtesy of premium whisky Jameson hits the entertainment calendar yet again. This is the second attempt to host the event after the Grammy nominated rapper failed to show up. He will perform for the first time in Kenya alongside local acts DJ Stylez, Hassan, Khaligraph Jones and Kristoff. The event goes down at Ng’ong Racecourse tonight.

Fahrenheit hosts Empire Sound Anniversary

Club Fahrenheit in Embakasi will host the sixth anniversary of Kenya’s most renowned entertainment outfit Empire Sound tomorrow night. The anniversary features live performances from ZJ Heno, DJ Ocrima, MC Advice, Teargas, Selector Reno, DJ Partoh, DJ Hanif and special guests: GMoney, DJs Andy, Bash, Burn, Hassan, DJ Kang Kang of Daddy Family, Musical Sherif of Firehouse, Mixmaster’s DJ Katta and Ronnie Bwoy of Supreme Ent. Charges are Sh500.

The Sanaa Theatre Awards

Tone Communications hosts the second edition of its trademark Sanaa Theatre Gala Awards at Alliance Française this coming Tuesday. Through this year’s one of a kind theme: Innovation Towards True Kenyan Theatre, the ceremony, seeks to appreciate excellence in the theatre field. It promises to be a red carpet affair as the crème de la crème of the theatre world are expected to grace the gala. It will be a first of its kind being a two-day barbecue festival that will go down at Lake Naivasha Resort, featuring an array of Kenya’s finest barbecue from various hotel and restaurants, interactive activities from barbeque competitions, water sports, go cart racing and horse riding among others.
