Cardi B has quashed rumors of a reunion with estranged husband Offset, following their joint New Year's Eve celebration in Miami.

Despite footage circulating on social media showing the GRAMMY-winning rapper and the former Migos member at a club together, Cardi clarified in a now-expired Spaces livestream that their friendly appearance did not signal a reconciliation.

In the livestream, Cardi, 31, admitted to engaging in intimate activities with Offset, 32, after an unexpected encounter at the club.

However, she asserted that both she and Offset have unresolved issues, both individually and as a couple, that need addressing before any consideration of getting back together.

"I want to be clear to you guys because you guys are making your assumptions, and I just wanted you to hear it from the horse's mouth. Was I clubbing with my baby father yesterday? Yes. Did I get d*cked down yesterday? Absolutely, baby," Cardi stated during the Spaces session.

The couple, who share two children, ended up in the same club after performing at different venues in Miami Beach. Despite the shared New Year's celebration, Cardi emphasized that it was not enough to mend their seven-year relationship.

"The answer to getting back together is not a good night at the club and fcking the night long. We need to work on our sht, we need to work on our communication, there's things that he needs to work on, there's things that I need to work on," she explained.

Cardi disclosed that, at present, they do not live together and are undergoing couples therapy to address their underlying issues. "We're at a point in our relationship where we're testing the space. That's why I'm saying that we're not together until we work out our issues. If it goes well, then we will be back together. If it doesn't go well, then it doesn't go well, but I always want to keep the healthy relationship," she added.

The rapper had initially confirmed their split during an Instagram Live session last month, citing challenges in sharing the news with the world.

Days later, she took to Instagram again to express her frustration with Offset, highlighting the difficulties in maintaining a healthy relationship.

Cardi and Offset, who tied the knot in 2017, share two children, Kulture Kiari, 5, and Wave Set, 2.

Despite filing for divorce twice during their marriage, no legal documents have been filed following the recent breakup.
