Socialite Vera Sidika has shut down rumors of hosting an event with her ex and father of her two children, Brown Mauzo. 

The Instagram post, titled "VERA SIDIKA CANCELLED," directly confronted a promotional poster that hinted at the former couple hosting an event at Jami Executive Gardens in Mwea.

Vera's straightforward message left no room for ambiguity. She asserted that the promotion was a deceptive ploy, specifically designed to exploit her personal family situation. The socialite emphatically stated that she would not be making any appearance at the aforementioned venue, setting the record straight amidst the buzzing speculation.

“I would like to let my fans and the general public know that this form of advertising is misleading and deceptive crafted in a format to profit from my personal family situation," wrote Vera.

This comes after Mauzo announced their breakup on August 30th, thanking fans for support.

In a composed statement, the coastal-based singer expressed gratitude for the support received from fans but revealed that both he and Vera had decided to part ways.

"Dear friends and supporters, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways," wrote Mauzo. 

He further explained that their journey together had been filled with unforgettable moments, but they had reached a point where it was best for both parties and their children to move forward separately.

Acknowledging the unwavering love and support from fans, Mauzo requested understanding and respect for their privacy as they embarked on a new chapter in their lives. The breakup announcement had left followers speculating about the future of the two celebrities and their individual paths.
