Lori Harvey and Damson Idris have recently called it quits, marking the end of their romance that lasted a little over a year.

In a joint statement given to The Hollywood Reporter, the former couple revealed that they have reached a point in their lives where their individual paths require their undivided attention and dedication.

They part on amicable terms, with nothing but love and respect for each other and the time they spent together.

"We are at a point in our lives where our individual paths require our full attention and dedication," they conveyed in their statement.

The news of their split comes shortly after Lori Harvey, aged 26, extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Idris on his 32nd birthday in September through an Instagram Story post. She wrote, "Happyyyy Birthdayyyy twinnn!!!! I love youuuu."

Lori Harvey, daughter of the renowned Steve Harvey, first publicly acknowledged her relationship with the Snowfall star during her 26th birthday celebration on January 13.

Before her involvement with Damson, she had been in a relationship with Michael B. Jordan for more than a year before they parted ways in June 2022.

Despite the breakup, Lori made it clear that she found contentment within herself.

She shared her sentiments with E! News' Adrienne Bailon-Houghton in June 2022, stating, "I feel like this year especially, I'm really stepping into my own, coming into my own as a woman. I feel like I'm officially kind of getting grown now, really learning myself."

She also emphasized that "love is the foundation to everything."
