Kenyan singer Kagwe Mungai and popular lifestyle content creator Sharon Mwangi have finally confirmed their romantic relationship, bringing their fans' speculations to an end.

In a series of Instagram videos on Monday, the lovebirds can be seen singing and dancing to their favorite tunes, showcasing their infectious happiness. Kagwe posted the videos and captioned them with the words "I only wanna party with you."

Although rumors about the couple's romantic relationship have been making rounds for several months, the pair had never publicly confirmed their relationship.

However, their frequent appearances together at endorsement events, birthday parties, and other social gatherings had fueled the speculations.

It was not until March of this year that Sharon hinted at their relationship during a Q&A session with fans on Instagram. Responding to a fan's question about whether she was single or dating, Sharon playfully replied, "Ndio! Mwenye macho haambiwi tazama."

Kagwe had previously stated that he was not actively seeking love, having been heartbroken in the past. The singer had always kept his love life private and had never shown off his girlfriend in the past.

Speaking to Kiss FM, Kagwe said, "I am not dating anyone now because I don't want disruptions. Plus, I have been busy with my album. I dated some days way back, which did not work. My heart has been cheated on for so many times."

In a previous interview with Standard Entertainment, Kagwe addressed a statement he made in 2018 that any woman planning to get hitched by him should be the one to pay dowry.

He clarified that Kenyans had taken it too seriously and he was just saying that he's a prize and if he's going to marry somebody, they have to understand that.

"People reacted to that statement badly. I was just saying that I'm a prize and if I'm going to marry somebody they have to understand that," he said.

Kagwe's recent public display of affection with Sharon Mwangi has, however, turned the tables. Kagwe's fans were surprised to see him finally going public with his girlfriend, given his history of keeping his love life private.
