Singer and businesswoman Esther Akoth, better known as Akothee, had a dream wedding with her lover Dennis Schweizer aka Omosh. The white wedding ceremony was held at the luxurious Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi. It was an event filled with pomp, glamour, and class. Guests showed up elegantly dressed to witness the union of the two lovebirds.
Akothee, who is known for her love for luxury, had earlier shared a registry checklist with the guests who were invited to her wedding. The registry highlighted the gifts she would have preferred to receive from her guests. The extensive list comprised of a wide range of items that included electronics, cookware, furniture, hardware and special gifts.
The electronic section had a 65-inch flat screen, double door fridge, deep freezer, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, sound system, microwave, grill, air fryer, humidifier, lawn mower, electric pressure cooker, and more.
Akothee's preference for white was evident in the bedding and baths section, which had white towels, white bedding sets in king size and white duvet covers. These were among the simplest items on the list, yet they demonstrated Akothee's attention to detail when it comes to creating the perfect home ambience.
The cookware section had everything from dining sets, cooking pots to cutlery. In the gadget section, Akothee included a MacBook laptop and a mobile phone. The furniture section had outdoor furniture and house furniture, while the hardware section had water tanks of 10,000 liters and brilliant white paint in 20-litre tins and 50 pieces.
Akothee was not shy about her desire for some special gifts, and she boldly included a Range Rover, golf kits and fully paid honeymoon destinations. These were extravagant gifts that demonstrated Akothee's love for luxury and the finer things in life. She added that she would accept Naivas gift vouchers as gifts starting from Sh50,000.
Among the invited guests were some of Kenya's prominent personalities, including Gender CS Aisha Jumwa, Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o, MP Millie Odhiambo, Kisumu Governor's wife Dorothy Nyong’o, Migori Governor's wife Agnes Ayacko, and lawyer Patrick Lumumba.
