Juliani: My chapos are the only thing holding my relationship

News
 Singer Juliani and Lillian Ng'ang'a.

Exponential Potential hitmaker Juliani seems to be enjoying his happily ever after with his wife, former Machakos First Lady Lillian Ng'ang'a. In a recent interview with Sema Box TV, Juliani jokingly said that his cooking skills might actually be the only thing holding his marriage together.

According to him, the one meal he can prepare to perfection in under 30 minutes is Chapatis. Filled with a smile, Juliani bragged that he could never share his secret recipe with his wife as she would outrun him.

"I'm the best chapo whisperer, manze bro chapo zangu! And I do everything in 30 minutes - 30 chapos in 30 minutes na hiyoni from kukanda. Niliambia wife ile siku nitamsho hiyo siri ... chapo ndio the only thing inahold hiyo relationship," he said amid laughter.

He, however, stated that his wife, too, has her own special and secret recipe in the kitchen. Juliani said he was yet to meet any person who makes a delicious mug of hot chocolate like his wife. In fact, he added that with the way she makes hot chocolate, no hotel could outdo her.

"And she has a way she makes hot chocolate, hakuna hoteli ishaimake," he said.

Speaking about his career, Juliani, who is set to host a 5-day concert, attributed his steady career to his boldness and a hardworking spirit that has never allowed him to quit or get distracted along the way.

"Usijidharau msee, because when I look at my career, from where I started to now, my fourth album, and the amazing things I've done so far, the only constant thing ni nilikuwa najichocha. I had no clue what I was doing but I had the courage to listen to that voice and the courage to boldly take that step," he said, adding that, "Kuna a certain point mtu hufika kwa career when you think you need to do certain things to fit in... but after four-five years of connecting with people I realised kumbe I was contributing to that space just by being myself!"
