Lydiah Marcella Manani, a teacher by profession, will be representing Kenya in the Miss Earth beauty pageant next month after beating 13 other beauties during a glitz ceremony held at the Carnivore grounds on Friday.
Lydiah, a 21-year-old Kitui Teachers College graduate outshone the rest with Grace Wanene and Theresah Mwende scooping the first and second runners-up slots, respectively. The star-studded event was attended by a number of dignitaries and former beauty queens.
