Popular Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau has shared photos from her exquisite baby shower-cum- baby gender reveal party.

The pink-themed occasion, indicating that she is expecting a baby girl was attended by close friends among the fellow actress Neomi Ng’ang’a, gospel artiste Kambua among others.

Dressed in a flowing pink robe designed by Neomi, the actress was the centre of attention on her special day.

“Be specific in your prayers God listens,” she captioned a photo of herself.

Kate, as she’s popularly known on social media, took the chance to write a heartfelt message to Kambua.

“Beautiful people you don't see every day but you know they remember you in prayer in your time of need. And that is everything,” she wrote.

What’s a baby shower without cake?

Well Kate’s gender reveal featured a tastefully decorated cake with a feeding bottle, a baby’s footprints and cot topping it off.

The cake also featured the inscription, ‘Baby K.’

First pregancy

Speaking about her first pregnancy, Kate revealed how she conceived barely two months after joining college.

“I had just joined campus in Uganda I grew up with my very strict mum. This was my first time alone, first time away, exploring. Aki hata sikumaliza 2 months nikajazwo!

“It happened and life changed. I had to come home and get my baby,” she narrated.

Given her experience, she recently sent a message to teenage mothers, cautioning them against getting pregnant before realising their dreams.

Congratulations Kate and Phil.
