Soon after the video footage showing Solange (Beyonce’s younger sister) ‘beat up’ Hip hop mogul Jay-z hit the internet and went viral, there have been speculations as to what exactly happened before the altercation took place.
Following concerns aired by fans some of who asked why the family’s confidentiality was breached, the Standard Hotel where an employee recorded and leaked out security video affirmed that it had identified and fired the person.
Celebrity website TMZ first posted the 3-minute which shows Solange attacking Jay Z in Beyonce's presence forcing a security guard to intervene.
The hotel said that it was "shocked and disappointed" by the security breach and was willing to turn over "all available information to criminal authorities."
Representatives for Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange haven't commented on the video and didn't reply to emails sent Wednesday seeking comment.
