A local politician whose election was recently nullified was this week seen at the home of one of the most powerful witchdoctors in Tanzania seeking help.
The politician who was accompanied by a female friend and two friends opted to seek ‘higher powers’ ahead of the by-election whose date is yet to be announced.
A Kenyan who works in a nearby shopping centre as a guard confirmed to PowerPlaythat the politician visited the witchdoctor for about three hours before he left in haste.
“It is true he came here. I saw him. He was wearing dark specs and was driven slowly to the witchdoctor’s home at around noon. Afterwards, his car was driven at high speed,” the Kenyan said, adding that the man the MP came to see is a known witchdoctor with clients from far and wide.
“Kenyan politicians hold him in high regard and they frequent his home,” he said. The politician faces hard times ahead with the electorate threatening to teach him a lesson in the mini-elections. Only time will tell whether the black magic will for this MP.
