A popular student leader in one of the city's universities lost over Sh120,000 over a bet he made during a match between Real Madrid and Atletico. The student leader was vouching for Atletico but unfortunately the team lost.
He has, however, downplayed the issue and when Power Play called to ‘console’ him, he did not sound that distraught.
