Barack Obama clinched his fifth Emmy Award at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sunday, earning recognition for his outstanding narration in the Netflix documentary series, "Working: What We Do All Day."
The former U.S. President, who also serves as a producer alongside former First Lady Michelle Obama, had previously secured an Emmy in 2022 for his narration in "Our Great National Parks."
The four-part series, which premiered on Netflix in May, provides a deep exploration into the ways individuals find meaning in their work, highlighting shared human experiences and challenges.
Described by Netflix as a profound examination of the impact of work on our lives, "Working: What We Do All Day" delves into the complex interplay between personal and professional aspects.
In a statement released in April, Obama underscored the significance of fostering a workplace environment where every individual's contribution is respected, fair compensation is ensured, and trust is reinforced within communities.
He stated, "When we make sure that everyone feels their work is respected, that everyone’s contribution is honored, and that everyone is getting paid enough to truly take a part in the life of our communities, we reinforce the trust between us that makes everything in our lives possible."
