On Monday, self-proclaimed president of single mothers Akothee advised women to focus on building themselves first before funding the businesses of the men they are dating.
Through a post on her socials, Akothee urged women to build their own houses to ensure they have a place to go to when their relationships do not work out.
She added that she was glad she had a home when she parted ways with Omosh as it would have been complicated.
“A woman with her own home knows where her heart is. A woman with her own gate knows where her brain is, a woman with her own car knows her destination. She can come any time, she can also come anytime.
“Single Mothers this is the only way you will gain respect not only from men but also just for yourself. Aka tiny sweet home where you run too to hide when the world is coming down. A place where you hide your children from the world's miracles,” she wrote.
Adding: “Before you take a loan to build your man's business, jenga nyumba yako kwanza, roho wacha ipige damu iwache kiherehere,mapenzi baadaye ,Si unaona nimewachiwa Nyumba ya nguruwe ,nguruwe ,kuku, na the rest . Kama ningekuwa naisho kwake jee ,ningeondoka na nini kama si uhuru bag…”
In a separate post, Akothee said she does not have time for online trolls as she addressed her beef with an unnamed content creator.
She said she has built her brand over time and others should also look for what they are good at and put in the work.

Akothee added that those constantly mentioning her name would soon be answerable to the law.
“Women admiring my life should accept that I give them energy and just Respect the GOAT . Some women left Kenya in search of Greener pastures. They should continue with their lives and stop dragging my name in their daily hustle.
“I don't follow nor know them, I stopped questioning why they keep dragging my name since I realized I am the benchmark of how a successful single mother should look like and their Icon. I have not blocked anybody from doing what they are good at doing…” she wrote in part.
