Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe has lashed out at revellers who go to high-end clubs to buy beer.

Through a series of posts on her Instagram, Huddah said those who go to clubs should be ready to spend money without regrets.

She hit out at those who go to such places to have beer saying they would rather give that money to their wives or girlfriends.

“Unakuja kununua beer kwa club? Kaa nyumbani. Hiyo pesa patia girlfriend/wifey akanunue maziwa.

“Beer kunywa kwa nyumba, local bar or when meeting wazee,” she wrote. (Why would you go to a club to have beer? Give that money to your girlfriend or wife to buy milk. You should have beer in your house or your local.)

Huddah added that it is important to save money specifically for partying to avoid any regrets.

She also took pride in the events she hosts saying it is never about filling clubs but the number of clients who can spend on bottles of liquor.

“If you cannot buy a bottle stay at home. You are not rich enough to be going outside.

“You must only go out to waste money, to celebrate something. Go once a year. Spend and never regret that money coz you set it aside for that day only,” she wrote.

The socialite, set to hold an event at a city joint on Thursday, said it would be the last time she would set foot in a Kenyan club.

Huddah off the market?

Huddah had earlier teased her fans that she was off the market after posting a photo of a man who was seemingly proposing to her.

She added that the Persian man had swept her off her feet and she was looking forward to doing life with him.

"Never have I ever thought a Persian man would take my heart & run off with it," she wrote.

Although some of her followers congratulated her, others were sceptical, suggesting it was one of her many stunts.

Well, only time will tell.
