Kenyan singer Avril Nyambura on Tuesday evening shared photos of her bruised face and pointed an accusing finger at a leading cinematographer.
She, however, deleted the post although hawk-eyed netizens had already captured screenshots.
In one of the photos, Avril had a bruised face, perhaps as a result of an altercation. In the second one, the singer, wearing a beanie, had a plaster on her forehead.
The post was quickly shared by blogs, drawing mixed reactions from internet users.
Sadly, the singer was subjected to trolls, prompting her to address the matter.
She condemned those who were making fun of her situation, expressing shock at the insensitivity of some of the comments.
“Going through comments and I am in utter shock. This is why people never report this s***…post thus s***cause y’all make people actually want to kill themselves after all they have been through.
“Have a laugh, enjoy…bye,” she wrote.
Our efforts to reach Avril and the accused had not borne fruit at the time of publishing this article.
