Kenyan singer Bahati has questioned the credentials of Pastor Ezekiel after he claimed that women called Diana control their husbands and rarely last in marriage.
In an undated video, the preacher warned men against getting married to ‘Dianas’ because they cannot submit and any hint of dominance from the man will make them flee.
“Ushawai kuona Diana yeyote kwa ndoa? Hakuna hata mmoja..Ukioa Diana uishi na yeye, yeye ndiye atakucontrol kama robot. She becomes the husband.
“Lakini wewe uwe mume, Diana ataenda…hapo nimeongea ukweli…number 2, usimpe mtoto wako jina Diana sababu akiolewa utashare na watu,” he said. (Have you ever seen a Diana in a successful marriage? If you marry a Diana she will control you like a robot. In fact, do not name your children Diana because once she gets married she will become promiscuous.)
Ezekiel further claimed that ‘Dianas’ are loveable and most men lust for them, he added that the name carries a spirit.
Bahati, however, disagreed with the preacher saying he was misleading his flock. He went ahead to say he has been living with Diana Marua for seven years and they will wed later in the year.
“Is this a TRUE or FALSE Prophet??? Somebody tell this Pastor to Stop Misleading the Church. @Diana_Marua and I are Celebrating 7 Golden Years of Marriage This Coming October 20th. DIANAS ARE THE BEST!!!”
Diana also weighed in on the matter claiming ‘Ezekiels’ are seasoned liars.

“Don’t be Married to Ezekiel’s!!! They will look at you straight in your eyes and LIE! Is this the same Ezekiel that was part of SHAKAHOLA MASSACRE????” she asked.
On Sunday, over 300 Christians allied to Pastor Ezekiel Odero's New Life Christian Church were forced to cut short their mass after a security multi-agency team in Nyeri ordered them to close the church.
The church leaders were ordered to abandon the mass over claims they did not have proper documentation, the branch pastor David Manyasi said.
"We were about to start the service when a police land-cruiser with police in full combat stormed our premises and ordered us to abandon plans to start the service. This led to confusion amongst our members," Pastor Manyasi said.
