Rapper Khaligraph Jones has threatened to take action against KISS 100 FM breakfast show hosts Kwambox and Chito Ndhlovu for apparently peddling lies about him.

This is after the duo discussed claims that Khaligraph had turned down a prospective interview with BBC 1Extra during his stay in London.

The seemingly unfounded claims originated from a UK-based Kenyan journalist John Muchiri, who through a statement on social media, called out the rapper for allegedly ignoring his request to be interviewed by one of the biggest radio stations in the UK.

“They wanted him on DJ Edu’s show last Wednesday, but he never responded. Now there’s no more availability unless he stays in London for another 2 weeks or so. Next week is fully booked. I can confirm that,” he stated.

Kwambox and Chito went ahead and picked up the story and ran with it, blaming Khaligraph’s management for the flopped interview.

“Apparently Khaligraph Jones disses BBC 1Extra. Journalists from BBC 1Extra DJ Edu apparently reached out to try and interview him but Khali is life I don’t know you,” said Kwambox.

“Imagine I don’t think it's Khali, the OG I know I don’t think it's Khali imagine. With Khali, the OG is the OG, you don’t get to Khali just like that. You have to talk to his people first. You talk to the people then the people tell the OG what the OG has to do and the OG goes ahead to do what he got to do. The problem is not Khali, the problem is the people in charge,” Chito added.

Taking to the radio station’s comment section, Khaligraph called out the two for peddling lies about him and demanding they apologize.

“Manze mkona ujinga sana Nyinyi wote na ku post nonsense. Why are you guys posting lies? Chito and Kwambox, stay hating, sharing false information for clicks. You have to apologize to me for these lies you are sharing on Kiss 100FM, you never talked about my London show lakini uwongo ndio mnajua kuambia watu, mumenibo kabisaa. Wacha nirudi Kenya we deal with this nonsense. You have to respect the OG,” he wrote.

According to the hosts, they are not at fault as the news was already on other media outlets.

“Khaligraph Jones is pissed at us. OG it's Chito. But seriously he caught offence on a story we talked about at 7 o’clock about him allegedly missing an interview on BBC 1Extra. It is a story that everyone was talking about, it is in all media publications. All major publications talked about it and we picked it up and discussed it maintaining that it can’t be Khali but he caught offense and he wants us to apologize. You know what, we will give you a chance to actually come here to the studio and we can settle it because we just said what we read.

Muchiri too clarified that he never said Khaligraph refused to appear for his interview but that he never responded to his request.

“I still stand by story that messages were sent out from BBC1xtra in London to Khali but there was no response. Nowhere did I say he refused, I said no response. If by any chance he has no ambition of going international, that’s none of my business. Yeye ndiye anajua anataka nini na career yake,” said Muchiri.
