Content creator Abel Mutua this week heaped praises on his wife Judy Nyawira for being the support system he needed.
Speaking to Lynn Ngugi, Mutua narrated how his wife always keeps him in check and gives him the motivation to grind harder.
"Judy is the fuel that propels me to greatness. She's been that person since 2008 when we met.
"Every situation we have been in has been a reason for me to grind even harder. Thanks to her. I keep on telling her that if it was not for her I would have amounted to nothing,” said the former Tahidi High actor.
Lauding the support accorded to him by Nyawira, Mutua disclosed that his wife never has an issue supporting him when he is broke.
“She is there to remind me that it’s not meant to be easy. She is always like, are you broke? I will hold you down.
“I will die for this woman any day because I know where I would have been without her…The reason why I was grounded is because I have someone in the house who was cheering for me regardless of what I was doing. As long as she saw the potential she was there to cheer me up and assure me that whatever happens, we are in it 100%,” said Mutua.
Nyawira, on her part, said they have managed to stick together for 15 years because they understand their roles in the relationship.

She emphasized the importance of submission, adding that it is never about who is making more money.
“There are seasons where I was the one making more money and vice versa. It is important to understand that whatever the season yeye bado ndio the head of the house.
“We’ve never fought about money because pesa ni yetu sisi wote. If I am in a position to do a certain thing I will do it,” she said.
Nyawira added that women are helpers and when they play their part well, their men automatically excel.
She called upon women to submit to their husbands and support them without thinking ‘what a man can do a woman can do better.’
“We are helpers…if you are a good helper and you play your role wisely, your man will excel in life.
“If you are married, the man is the head of the house, submission is understanding that…” she said.
