Shakilla addresses leaked video with Lava Lava

A video of Kenyan socialite Shakilla and Tanzanian bongo artist Lava Lava recently surfaced on social media, causing quite a stir.

In the leaked video, Lava Lava is seen fast asleep while Shakilla is awake beside him, recording the clip.

Shakilla has now responded, expressing her shock upon discovering the video and vehemently denying any involvement in its release.

She clarified that the video was recorded over two years ago using a third party's phone, emphasizing that she should not be held responsible for its leakage.

Shakilla made it clear that she wouldn't entertain any further inquiries regarding the video, as she had not personally posted it and distanced herself from any responsibility.

Additionally, she clarified that she has not maintained any form of communication with the musician and hasn't seen or spoken to him for over a year.

“There’s a video circulating online with me and the named person in the video, I would like to let it be known I am as surprised to see the video, as this was taken over 2 years ago with the 3rd party’s phone, whom I have not spoken to or seen in over a year.

“I am not going back and forth or answering any questions about this video as I am not responsible for posting or having any engagements with the 3rd party involved” said Shakilla.

In 2022 during an interview with Eve Mungai, the socialite said she was dating multiple men and got different benefits from each one of them.

She added that she was not afraid of being judged by society as it brought her happiness.

"I don't date one man, I'm in a relationship with multiple guys. It's normal just like dating one man” said Shakilla “If one guy makes you happy imagine 10 guys?" she asked.
