Dr Ofweneke has built his name as one of the most sought-after MCs in the country and it is no surprise that his name has popped again after Bahati and Diana Marua announced their intention to get married later in the year.
In an interview with Trudy Kitui, Ofweneke said he is yet to be formally approached by the couple but he would be glad to be part of their celebration.
He added that he might have a busy diary in December but whether he is involved in the wedding or not, he wishes them well as he has known them over the years and witnessed their growth.
“I can’t decide because it is their wedding. I want to treat that as a rumour because Bahati and Diana have not approached me though I will be very proud of them whether I attend the wedding or not.
“I have watched Bahati grow in the industry and I would be very happy to see him walk down the aisle…whether I will be the MC or not, I have not been approached. If they approach me…December is crazy for me, I could be in the country or out of the country but if they approach me and my date allows, I will be very much glad to be the MC, I wouldn't mind,” he said.
Ofweneke was the MC during Akothee’s star-studded wedding earlier this year and was commended by many for making the event a success
Bahati and Diana are set to tie the knot on December 12, 2023.
Speaking during a past interview with Willis Raburu, Bahati said their initial plan was to get married in 2020 but Diana requested that they push it to a later date to include all their children in the experience.

“The wedding is coming. Actually, we were to do the church wedding in 2020 but my wife here insisted that she wanted all our kids to be part of the experience. According to her Majesty is still too young to understand and might start asking for food while people are on the lineup,” said Bahati at the time.
