Wangari Thiong'o gushes over Jimal's bond with daughter

Wangari Thiong'o on Thursday shared a sweet video of Jimal Rohosafi bonding with their ailing daughter Amal at a city hospital.

She captioned it, "We got this, and God's got us" expressing faith that all will be well.

Earlier this week, Jimal had also asked his followers to pray for their daughter who had been admitted and had an oxygen mask on.

The couple welcomed baby Amal in March after Jimal confirmed that they were an item. Taking to his Instagram page, the businessman was proud that he finally had a daughter.

"I have many flaws to be perfect, but I have too many blessings to be ungrateful. Princess Amal, finally a girl Dad!" Jimal excitedly wrote on his page at the time.

This came after his acrimonious break up with ex-wife Amira in a spat that almost spiraled out of control.

Jimal said he was happy with Wangari and loves the fact that she keeps a low profile.

Bestie bestie

In 2022, Jimal posted a video in the company of Wangari and referred to her as his 'best friend' although netizens were convinced they were more than just buddies.

In the clip, the two were enjoying a drink as they waited for their meal to be served.

"Happiest birthday to my best friend, continue being the amazing person you are," he captioned the post.

In February 2023 Jimal was at it again, this time dropping the strongest hint that his bestie had quickly risen through the ranks to become the main woman.

In the photo captioned "Nilisema nitapenda after three years na nikama imenda haraka," which translates to "I said I would love after three years, but it seems to have happened quickly," the two, radiant with smiles, were seen gazing into each other's eyes.

Wangari reposted the same photo on her timeline, expressing her joy at the news. She captioned it, "We are celebrating more than our Valentine's, the best decision we ever made was having you."

Three days earlier, Wangari announced the news of her pregnancy, expressing gratitude for the blessings in her life. Jimal responded to her post, saying, "You deserve it and much more."

Jimal has had his fair share of ups and downs in his relationships, with his marriage to Amira collapsing, and his tumultuous relationship with socialite Amber Ray reaching a dead end.
