Akothee sits for exams before heading out for honeymoon

Newly-wed singer Akothee has revealed that she is currently sitting her undergraduate exams and will travel for her honeymoon once she is done.

Through her socials, Akothee, who is pursuing a Business Management degree at Mount Kenya University, admitted that her academic journey has been long but she is determined to finish strong.

"Ticking my 3rd bucket list. Day 2 into my final Exams. Bachelor of business management Academic year 2022 2023 Specialising in Human Resource," she wrote.

Adding: "You can hire me after August. It's been a journey. 14 years in University Aaa...I will be back once I am done. My last paper is on Saturday 6.00 pm. Where do we throw the party? Then off to my Honey moon nikapate mimba na hukooo."

Akothee has been the talk of town after she tied the knot with her lover Denis Schweizer on Easter Monday.

Last week, she announced plans to fly her entire bridal team to Switzerland for a second wedding in July.

The flamboyant entertainer shared that the event will take place on July 10, 2023, and the same bridal team will line up.

"Allow me to introduce to you to The Royal Bridal Party gang, our super gang heading to Switzerland for July 10, 2023, Esther Weds Denis. The whole of this YEAR I am getting married start your planning next year," she wrote.

The singer tied the knot on April 10, 2023, at the Windsor Golf Hotel in Nairobi and her bridal team included Lang'ata MP Phelix 'Jalang'o' Odiwuor, Milly Wa Jesus and her husband Kabi Wa Jesus, Azziad Nasenya, among others.
