Socialite Faith Makau alias Amber Ray has confirmed her split with businessman Kennedy Rapudo.

Through her Instastories, Amber said the relationship was not working and she can no longer pretend that things are okay.

"Nop, I know mahali imefika I might look like a joker but manze I don't know how to pretend if it's not working...it's not working ...so munipende tu vile niko," she wrote.

The pair went public about their relationship in June this year and even shared photos while on vacation together.

Prior to this, Rapudo maintained a low profile and once said he likes to "leave idlers clueless and let them assume what they want."

During one of their trips, Amber gushed over Rapudo online but seemed to have an issue with his reserved nature.

"How will I stun my online fans with all these restrictions?" she asked, hinting that she had been asked not to show too much skin on social media.

Amber Ray and Kennedy's relationship was been envied by many, including her Sierra Leone ex-boyfriend, basketball player Kabba who, despite his disagreement with Amber, noted that he was not jealous of her new catch.

According to Kabba, there is no reason for him to hate Amber as he tried dating her but realized she was not the person she claimed to be.

"That is nothing to be proud of by the way. I have been there dear, I am not jealous," he said.

Amber wished Kabba well in a retort, hoping he would one day find the happiness he so much desires.

"I don't know who needs to hear this but I really hope you find the happiness you've been pretending to have," Amber responded.
