Flamboyant Nairobi preacher Lucy Natasha is officially off the market.
The stylish Reverend said ‘yes’ to her fiancé Prophet Stanley Carmel in a dark blue and gold-themed, well-decorated event that took place on Saturday evening at the Boma Hotel, Nairobi.
The founder of Empowerment Christian Church (ECC) announced her engagement via her official Instagram account, where she documented the event’s happenings.
In the photos, Prophet Carmel, dressed in a traditional white Indian attire paired with red shoes, got down on one knee and asked Natasha to be his wife.
Natasha, known for her impeccable sense of fashion, put on a red dress with a touch of gold patterns paired with gold low-heel stilettoes as she accepted the ring. The Rev captioned the photos, ‘I said yes’ accompanied with an engagement ring emoji.
The Rev and her fiancé seemed extremely happy as they smiled throughout the event attended by a few.
Hours later, Natasha posted a picture of her and her fiancé, both elegantly dressed in red and black and asked for God’s guidance in their journey together.
“My Love Carmel may the rest of our life's journey together will be filled with God's grace, blessings, provisions, protection and guidance,” she captioned the photos.
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko rumoured to have dated Natasha in the past, commented on Twitter, joking about why the Rev never informed him of her engagement.
"Rev. Dr. Natasha why are you getting engaged without informing me naunajua vile tumetoka far Ama nisimamishe hiyo wedding ikifika.
Anyway congrats. Just kidding," wrote Sonko.

In 2019, Natasha dismissed the rumours that she dated Sonko, saying her relationship with the former Governor was spiritual.
"The Governor is very God-fearing and my connection with him is very spiritual. He is somebody I have prayed with many times. I have prayed with him over various issues and he is a God-fearing man," she said adding, "I have never dated Mike Sonko. I don't even know where this story came from."
